Change is inevitable. 2020 was inevitable, 2020 brought change in perspective and change what matters. Sitting back I remember when I first started in the family business, I didn't know how to turn on a truck. As a years progressed, I went from not knowing where life would take me to having FOS at a level where our clients base in based on integrity, family, ever relying HARD WORK. So was 2020 a year of change? Probably. We all go through changes in our lives, we grow. The problem is we must take the step necessary to change, adapt, move forward.
Its my firm belief that companies need to adapt and change with the times. In business no matter what it is we must "modernize" to be able to grow. In essence "change". Social media? Instagram? Facebook? Followers? Its funny, 19 years in this industry and the last thing I could ever imagine having an Instagram page for a service company. The idea is not if it grows your business and brings more revenue. The idea behind it is creating a brand. Creating the brand is essential for your business to flourish.
So, since last year I have been engaging in our facebook page, Instagram #fostruck and now since we
are revamping our website decided to open a blog. The idea behind the blog is a way to speak about the transportation business as a whole or on a local level. So I will be coming on here and speaking about trucking, logistics and distribution. As far as how often, this is new to me so it will be something as inspiration comes.
